The U Richtára vineyard house, dating back to the 16th century, is located in the heart of the Small Carpatian region in the picturesque town of Modra which is above all renowned for its potery and rich winemaking traditions. U Richtára Wine Restaurant is situated on the street Štúrova ulica 95 in the centre of the town Modra (ca 24 km from Bratislava) only 150 m from the statue Štúrovci (see server www.google.com). U Richtára vineyard house, named after its original owner, the mayor of Modra ("Richtár" in Slovak) conceals within its walls a stylish restaurant with a wine bar, cellars with a winemaiking museum, an outdoor courtyard fitted in a classic vineyard style and a wine shop - Pavuk vinoteca. Our cuisine offers a combination of the best Slovak and international dishes, in which we regularly feature a selection of various seasonal specialties like wild game, fishes, hog-killing specialties, goose-meat etc. The gourmet experience is complemented by a wide selection of the best wines from Slovak and world producers. U Richtára restaurant won a prestigeous prize GOURMET AWARD 2011 - thematic restaurant.
U Richtára is an ideal place to meet with friends while enyoing good food and wine, as well as for company parties, social events, celebrations and wedding receptions. The total capacity of the U Richtára house is 200 guests, up to 300 in the summer. An integral part of the U Richtára vineyard house is now the Spiderbar
- a new place of fun and culture.
